For those of you who are wondering what it is about, Feminine Appeal is a book which discusses the implications of Titus 2:3-5 to the everyday lives of women (and wives and mothers in particular):
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. When I first read this book I found it challenged me in many areas of my life and gave me lots to think about. I'm looking forward to reading it again in September, contributing the notes and hearing your thoughts on it as we go. If you're interested in reading a little more about the book before buying, Tim Challies has a review on his site.
